… and then the twittersphere ‘sploded about the-place-that-shall-not-be-named-without-everyone-going-crazy.

Begin here with Peter Beinart’s NYT piece …

Then, read this at the Atlantic where Jeffrey Goldberg adds some sticks of dynamite to the fire… and then, search @peterbeinart on twitter and watch the waves of 140 character comments roll in… A good time is guaranteed for all!

I have only one biscuit to toss into this dog-fight… Beinart’s use of the term “undemocratic Israel” to describe Judea and Samaria/the West Bank.  I was under the impression that Beinart was a “two-stater”… but describing Israel in these terms leads me to wonder.

I also welcome punch-line suggestions for the thwarted joke in the headline in the comment section below … as well as thoughts about this joke from Foster Freiss that has nothing to do with ASPIRIN.  Here goes:  A conservative, a liberal, and a moderate walk into a bar. The bartender says, ‘Hi, Mitt.’
